Who is Mackenzie Hill
Mackenzie grew up in Litchfield Park, Arizona, where her love for storytelling began with playground adventures and homemade skits for her family. At twenty-two, she reconnected with her father and learned the power of perseverance as he fought—and temporarily beat—cancer. His words, “Chase your dreams, no matter what anyone says,” became her guiding light.
After losing him a few years later, Mackenzie moved to Montana in search of healing and a new beginning. What started as quiet visits to the local library soon reignited her passion for reading and writing. Within a year, she became a published author, her small-town community rallying behind her as she brought her rich, imaginative worlds to life.
Mackenzie now writes epic fantasy stories filled with heart, resilience, and flawed heroes who rise from the ashes—much like she did.
From a young age, Mackenzie grew up around horses. She even learned to become a barrel racer, and she has rescued and rehabilitated a few horses herself.
